Hissey transferred in following Westchester counterpart Tom Mieczkowski, and like Tommy, he made quite the impact right off the bat. Hissey left Emory as the career stolen base leader, second in runs scored, and third in hits, he was drafted by his hometown Phillies in the 50th round, playing 2009 for the Gulf Coast League Phillies. He even went 1-4 off future Hall of Famer Pedro Martinez during an intersquad game. Hissey was always around the baseball field running, smiling, and providing the X-Factor.
